Back in the sixties many of Jim’s summers were spent at Wasaga Beach at the family cottage near beach two. In 2013 he made the move that he probably always knew he would and bought a home, literally steps from the beach, and retired there with his wife Kathy to a lifestyle he loves. His passion for photography took another giant leap forward. The self-taught photographer uses either his Nikon D3400 for which he has a few lenses, or sometimes just his Google Pixel 7 which he describes as “more camera than phone”, to capture the beauty of the beach in all seasons. Jim will be sharing his wonderful beach photography with us every month.
