Gary Hall

Gary is a Caledon resident living in Palgrave with his wife Sheilagh and their three cats. As a nature enthusiast, Gary made an easy transition into retirement after a 35-year career in education. Gary’s prime hobby during his teaching career was photography focusing mostly on travel, and landscape. He learned the basics of photography through several courses at Sheridan and Humber Colleges. It was the freedom of retirement that allowed Gary to pursue his long-time dream of becoming a wildlife photographer. Trips to the national parks of East Africa, South Africa, Patagonia, Galapagos, Yellowstone, the Canadian Rockies, Algonquin Park, and Point Pelee resulted in an extensive portfolio of wildlife images. Closer to home, one can find Gary walking the trails around his home in Palgrave where he has no problem finding interesting subjects to photograph.
