Cloudscapes can be fascinating. Especially the ones that follow a storm. After a day of heavy rain our evening walk was greeted with some incredible colours and shapes extending along the lake and reflected in the now-calm water. The clouds appeared to march like billowy soldiers down the far shore.
The setting of an unseen sun cast a profusion of pinks and peaches, and blues and greys. It turned our view into a palette worthy of an artists brush. It was the calm after the storm and it was nature’s glorious ending to a rather dreary day.
